Eat Cake for Breakfast!

I got this bag about a month (or more) ago and I've been meaning to share but lately it seems like I have time for nothing besides work, gym and weekend activities! I first saw this bag appear about 6 months ago on katespade.com and knew I had to have it. I waited for it to go on sale-- cute as it is, this bag is so not worth $300! Surely it went on sale but I passed it up the first time. A month later, I saw it in the sale section on Kate Spade and I knew I couldn't pass it up again! With 6% cash back on ebates, this bag came out to a little over $100! This is the perfect beach tote, over nighter or airplane tote. It's super roomy and has three interior pockets. I love all the little details of Kate Spade items; from the hardware on the actual purse to the postcard and the dust bag. In case you can't read it, the post card reads "She is quick and curious and playful and strong" and the dust bag reads "she tucked her coral lipstick away and floated back to the party". Siiiiigh. Love Kate Spade!

These are a few of my favorite things..

Top: circuit training, Skin Food's peach sake BB cream, mint lace iPhone 4s case
Bottom: Barbie pink stripe NOTD, another polka dot NOTD, Rebecca Minkoff purse and lace shorts

Here are a few things that I am currently obsessing over but the biggest of all is photo editing with my beloved iPhone. Endless amount of bokeh's and filters and frames! 😍😍

Radio Alice's Summerthing

This past weekend the gang and I decided to enjoy music, food and San Francisco by taking part in the free concert held in Golden Gate Park known as Alice radio's Summerthing. The weather couldn't be any more perfect with only flashes of San Franciscan chill.

Wasn't lying when I said it was gorgeous out!

When the girls and I got there, we were starved-- as usual. Immediately, we headed over to the paella station and had one order each for ourselves! The paella was mass produced in a ginormous pan. It was delicious but my only complaint is that it wasn't hot enough.

Of course the boys came back with even more food-- samosas, lumpia, turkey sammie, tacos, pork Sammie and chocolate covered bacon.

I didn't manage to camwhore with my friends much, I'm afraid my shameless camwhoring days may be a thing of the past. But I did manage to snap a pic of my fotd and another of me wearing Emster's hat! I feel like it's my duty to sport headbands as much as possible to pay tribute to my hippie San Franciscan roots!

Here's the lone ranger and his hat won at a booth.

To cool off, we decided to head over to the little popsicle cart. With unique favors like watermelon mint and strawberry creme and basil, you would only assume that your taste buds would be blown away. Unfortunately for me, I was unimpressed by these unconventional pairings. At $4 a pop, I felt guilty having to hand off half of mine to Mr. Dubs.

Our final treat for the day was this volcano drink. It was fizzing like a volcano and tasted like a liquid slurpee!

P.S. I am now rocking a very unattractive headband tan line on my forehead. Definitely not a good look!

In case you're curious to see just how bad...

Haight Street Festival

What would you expect from the street festival of the iconic hippy Haight Street of San Francisco? Very eccentric people of course!

Moving back to the city really made me see how blessed I am to be surrounded by such great food and unique San Franciscan events. I'm never short of new restaurants to try or weekend activities!

Here are a few pics of me doing what I do best, camwhoring! I actually decided to curl my hair for the day and although the curls didn't last all day, I did like the end results!

We started the day off with some light branching with heavy mimosa drinking. (you guys know I love to go bottomless with my mimosas!) I don't remember the name of this dish but it was truly BDC (bombDOTcom). It was like a breakfast cioppino-- it has shrimp, fish, spinach and an egg all stewed with this lobster sauce and paired with garlic bread and house potatoes. Definitely worth every calorie!

I didn't snap too many pics of the Haight Street Fair because it was PACKED. It happened to fall on a gorgeous gorgeous San Franciscan day, I think we hit the 80's almost the entire day!

I really LOL'd when I saw this tee. Very true to San Franciscan culture. Hehe.

This man kept trying to get Denise and I to take a picture with him. Sorry homie but we don't want to pay $2 just to be in the picture with you!

This is a no filter pic! Can you imagine how beautiful it was outside? It made our skin look completely flawless!

Later on that night I met up with my favorite pair of brothers! We just chilled until I had the call of (gf) duties and had to bring Mr. Dubs some dinner.

Not to be left out, here's my gross sickly Mr. Dubs!

Ahhh SF.. if you gave us more sunshine, I'd hella love you!
